The 1st was at a geothermal area close to Myvatn. It was bitterly cold and I waited too long to put my puffy pants on. By then my hands were so frozen it took at least 5 minutes to be able to button the 1 button on them. There were only 2 of us at this particular location.

I am guessing that I should follow the directions and feature rocks in the landscape. When I saw rocks I got so excited that I immediately went to my collection of close-up rock images.

I recognize that rock at Gruinard Bay. A wee bit different conditions, though.

The difference may come from being there in November or in June
