I am glad your posted these here Travis, they are quite inspiring. I have a trip coming up over to DV in about a month so it’s great getting some early inspiration.

Now... how did you lose someone out in Mesquite Dunes! That takes a special kind of talent!

Thanks Jim. Well...I didn't know it when we set off into the dunes going our own way...that he didn't have the best wayfinding skills...and when it got dark, he walked toward the lights...at Stovepipe Wells thinking that was the parking lot...but we didn't know that...we assumed he got hurt or was dehydrated or something far more serious...we even joked that...."no one would walk to Stovepipe"...so...new rule...two way radios for all next trip...I already bought a fleet of them.

It is cool that DV is ever changing, so it is a place that one can easily go back over and over again.
