Fall in a Coastal Forest

[AlanLichty]

A shot from last fall along the Kentucky Creek trail in the Siuslaw National Forest. Good examples of old growth forest in these mountains are hard to find anymore.

C&C always welcome.

A classic view of fall in the PNW forests. Some yellows and a whole lot of greens.

Now, this... might be your best fall color image of the PNW.

Thanks Jameel - yellows are mostly confined to the forest floor since the deciduous vegetation can't compete with the evergreen canopy.

Thanks Jim - I like the way this one turned out.
