Fall Color in Black and White

Another image from Lutsen Mountain at the beginning of October. It was one where I was processing it, and the bright yellow/orange leaves in the background made me wonder how it might look in B&W. So I tried it, and I really liked it!

I obviously wouldn't convert all of my Fall Colors to B&W, but for this one? I thought it looked cool and was a great change of pace.

Its an interesting look but I find my eyes craving the colors with this backlit scene.
