Not quite their usual season unless it was raised by a nursery in a greenhouse like this one I spotted outside a store

Thanks - the lighting when I was walking past this bloom was pretty much begging me to grab the shot.

Nice glowing specimen. Might be worth a try to mask the flower and darken the rest to make this really pop.

Thanks Jim - dahlias have some gorgeous blooms but I have never grown them myself.
