Another wierdo.

While looking for some fall pollinators in the raspberries I spotted a brown dot that looked a bit unusual. It kept crawling under a leaf as I approached with my camera but eventually I was able to get a couple of angles. BigGuide says it is the family of Treehoppers and specifically a Spittlebug .

It had such an interesting shape to the head with that line of colour on the face going through the eye.

You do have some interesting small creatures lurking on your property Trent. Do you feel like you have developed an eye for spotting small but interesting creatures like this one? I am pretty sure I would have overlooked this one entirely.

Definitely a new one for me.
