Hey Oliver.

That's a very great image. Glad you got it.

As to it's demise, I am very suspicious of the claims that it was weather related.

First there was King of Wings a couple of months ago, it collapsed supposedly from weather.

One time might be a coincidence. But 2 iconic objects that are located not too far from each other both collapsing within 2 months after they have survived for thousands of years????

I believe it was foul play. I am willing to bet it was some photographer who was jealous of the Social Media crowd that drives thousands of people to visit those 2 locations, so they purposely destroyed them both.

Hey Jim, I guess we'll never know because it seems to me this is a very delicate structure, but without a detailed analysis, it's pretty hard to say whether it's from nature's force or malicious destruction.

Whichever way it happened, it's really sad

Oliver
