Winter is not my favorite time of year to shoot landscapes in my area, but I was out touring the country side when the late afternoon light caught my eye as it illuminated the side of this corn silo.

Driving across Iowa, I became really fascinated with the green belt pathways that would run out among the corn fields. Sometimes they were simple, other times the paths took on a more intricate pattern. This was from 200 feet up, DJI Mini 2 drone. All comments are welcome, Jim

The Focus this Friday is on Farmland! With the passing of my Dad on Wednesday, it came to me that since my Dad was born on a farm in Minnesota and spent his childhood and youth working on that farm back in the 1930's and 40's. It would be kind of cool to see how people have captured the farm...
