Here is another couple of images from my recent trip to Yosemite. That bright yellow tree caught my eye from the road and I had to stop and check it out. I played some with its placement in the frame, the colors in the background, and how much of the river to include. Here are two favorites

I know it looks like I placed the leaf in the lower right corner, but I swear I didn't even know that foreground crept into the frame!
Any thoughts are welcome.
After driving through this area several times I decided I needed to stop and take a photo. This is Southside Drive in Yosemite just passed the Pohono Bridge. I felt like it rivals some of the east coast road scenes that I've seen.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Vernal Falls has always been one of my favorites in Yosemite. It is also appropriately named as it is at its most impressive in the spring and usually slowing to a trickle by fall. The recent rain storms, though, have brought it back to life and given me my fist chance to shoot it with fall...
Last one from Bowman Lake, I promise! The sun had gone behind a cloud, and then began to poke through and illuminate a hillside covered in yellow larches. I thought it was pretty cool to have the trees lit up and everything else dark, so here it is. This is intentionally processed dark to add...
I made my first trek to the northern entrance to Glacier this weekend. The drive from Colombia Falls to Polebridge was gorgeous, with some past prime aspens, prime larches, mountain views, and the north fork of the flathead river. I'll have to spend a lot more time there next fall.
After...
I made my way out to McDonald Lake for sunset last night. The light fizzled before it could really light up the clouds, but I had a chance to capture a few shots before that. Any thoughts are always welcome.
I'm taking more intimate shots this fall due to the disappointing sky's we've been having. This image is a combination of a BnW shot and Color shot, I opened them as layers in PS and changed the blend mod on the color shot to Hard Light and left the fill and opacity at 100%. I then did an...
I took this shot yesterday when we had a pretty strong sun throwing a bit of that autumn gold cast over everything. Which muted out the brilliant color variations in the scrub oak verses the day before. Because of the lack of cloud cover, the present of haze and lingering smoke is much more...
So I came back from Montenegro and one of my favorite Photos was this one because I think I managed to isolate the bridge from the whole scene by sliding down the light. But somehow I get that feeling that something is missing, something is not fit. Please feel free to share your thoughts :)
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
