Waterfall Wednesday 3/19/2025

My waterfall for today is Dugan Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. These are intermittent falls that will dry up in late spring but offer up a nice show during our rainy winter months. From a visit in February. Single shot at 70mm from about 300' above Hartman Pond.

Pile on with whatever you have that resembles falling water.

Neat small scene - and one taken not far from where I took my drone shot. Wahkeena Creek drains into Hartman Pond right under where I took my shot above.

Thanks Michael - you can shoot Dugan Falls from the ground but the view is straight up into the sky and at odd angles. Best view would be from the Benson Recreation area closer to the freeway instead of the Historic Highway near the base of Wahkeena Falls.

A day late as I was mostly out yesterday. A really wide view of the gorge creek falls in North Cascades. This is with a 14mm lens.

That sure is a loooong drop down that chute. Easy to see how that creek got its name. Nice one.
