The Last Dance

I went down to San Diego on Sunday. Late in the afternoon I intended to go to Cabrillo National Monument before it closed at 5pm. But driving down along the peninsula I saw Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and maybe it was the light, or just the impact of driving next to thousands upon thousands of tombstones, I stopped and did some walking around and photographing. At one point I saw this very old lady just kind of standing next to some tombstones for the longest time, so I grabbed few quick shots as she began to finally slowly move.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Beautiful image Jim, touching
Thank you Mahikan. Her son (I think) was standing next to her constantly, but I knew the image needed her alone, so finally he walked off about 20 to 30 feet away, and I quickly grabbed a few shots.

I was kind of pleased with getting this too, since 99% of my photos are Landscapes with no people included, I was really happy to get a shot where there was some potential human emotion.
