St. Michael's Mount, in Cornwall, is a tidal island connected by a walkway that gets completely submerged at high tide. Sunset shot taken with my Hasselblad X1D, Voigtlander 15mm Super Wide-Heliar v. III and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Beautiful Vieri - I like how you framed the cobbled walkway as the leading line into the scene. Neat to see some of the colors in the stones of the walkway as well with the reflected light.

Wow, beautiful elements all the way through the image. Great use of the light, but fg and bg, as well as the transition.

Very cool Vieri! That’s one of my favorite castles because of that walkway. It’s amazing that the walkway stays intact considering the tide and it being covered in water so much.

Beautiful, Vieri! In addition to what others have said, I really like the way the light progresses through from St Michaels Mount to reflecting on the cobbles.

Sorry Vieri, the second sentence was suppose to be BOTH fg and bg, as well as the transition.

Than you very much indeed Jim! :) Yes, I just love this location - while smaller than Mont St. Michel in Normandy, the setup with the causeway is just amazingly photogenic! As you said, it is incredible how the walkway is still there - on a side note, when I went there last year there were workers maintaining it, that might have something to do with its solidity.

Thank you very much indeed Monika, I am glad you enjoyed it! :)

Very nice, Vieri. I don't remember ever seeing the walkway depicted in images of this tidal island.
Thank you very much Douglas! :) Perhaps you are thinking of Mont St. Michel in Normandy?
