Sheep Bridge

At the narrowest part of Moonshine Wash narrows, there is a sheep bridge over the top. Apparently, it predates the old still that was somewhere in the vicinity (thus the name Moonshine Wash). I actually missed it on the way in as it was right after a challenging drop for the dog. Kind of a different sort of thing to see in a slot canyon -- not your usual logjam!

That could win prizes for an unexpected sight in a slot canyon. This place seems more interesting with each new image you are posting.

How interesting Monika. It makes sense to provide a place for them to cross. Of course, you could go up top and this might guarantee some bighorn photos!

It was for domestic sheep. Not sure if I've ever seen bighorns in this area. Definitely haven't seen domestic ones. Or moonshiners, for that matter!

Sometime I'll go back & look for the remains of the stills and the spring. But I'll take the easy way out.

This is a great image, but no thank you, couldn't do it. That bridge is very unique, it wonder how long it's been there.
