Amazon.com : Neewer Electric Panoramic Tripod Head for Time Lapse Shooting with Variable Speed and Direction, Built-in Rechargeable Battery and Remote Control for Smartphone DSLR Camera GoPro(Adapter Not Included) : Camera & Photo

I had bought this. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars until I decided it was something I would really use. I have had it for 3 months and still haven't used it. I mean to use, but just get so busy when I am out shooting, and plus most of my timelapses are all at sunset or late at night which would be the last time you would want to have something rotating I think since I am focused on making sure the exposure is correct. Maybe later I would get better at it, it would be easier to integrate in.

I have read that some of these lower cost pan heads are jerky in motion which is the problem I am trying to solve with hand panning. I assume you have not tried it yet.

I hadn’t read that, the reviews were good on it.

I really should go try it. I will try to within the next week as I might run up to Yosemite for a few days next week.
