NGC2244 the Rosette Nebula

Interesting palette - seems a bit different from other posts of this DSO I have seen although I am far from being knowledgable about astro photo processing. Nice details.

Broadband filters work great for everything. That's what's cool about them, you can use them to image anything, and it will add a bit of contrast, help to control the stars a bit, and give you a nice looking image even without processing. I never image anymore without a filter. Either I use the Optolong L-Quad or the Antlia ALP-T, and that goes even when I am out in Bortle 1 or 2 skies.

Nice work on this! I like the detail you got on the inside of it. You got some really nice nebulosity.

I am imaging tonight, clear sky, and maybe I will go again tomorrow night if the sky is clear. I am in Bortle 9, so I figure more moon cant hurt that much. :)
