Morning Colors Have Returned

For the first time in quite a while I got a chance to shoot a really nice colorful sunrise featuring Mt. Hood. Very little fog or haze and some just right clouds. Three frames shot at 70mm from an altitude of 98ft.

That is real nice sunset. It was quite interesting here as well except I wasn't in a position to capture it. So just enjoyed it as I was driving.

Should have paid more attention to the title and narrative. Doing this without the morning coffee can be challenging at times

Thanks Peter - ever since I started flying camera drones I keep a close eye on good sunrise/sunset cloud colors since I can send my drone straight up over my house for views like this one.

Thanks Jordan - this was shot with a DJI Mavic 3 Pro. Being able to dial up different focal lengths makes a huge difference in how I can utilize it for my still photography. This is a 3 shot panorama using a 70mm lens/sensor.

Thanks for the info Alan, I still have the older Air 2. Would like to upgrade one of these days but my wife just side eyes me when I bring it up haha.

WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) can be a steep barrier to your GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome).

If you are going to upgrade Jordan you better hurry. Congress is banning DJI drones very soon, so if you want one you better buy one now before you can't.

Thanks Jim - this time of year can produce some great morning/evening color shows in between the grays of the rainy season.
