@Comet Hunter Ed sure had an awesome Medusa Nebula. Mine won't be as nice as his, for one reason I only had gotten 1.5 hours of data on this. I had captured it again last night for about 3 hours. But when I compared the data from back in June that was shot in Bortle 3 skies compared to my Bortle 9 skies from last night, the data from last night looked really bad. I might go later and process my data from last night to demonstrate the difference dark skies can have on our Deep Space Objects. But for now, I just did the better looking data, even though it was super short at 1.5 hours.
One thing surprised me, and perhaps I just wasn't paying attention close enough to other peoples images of Medusa, was the almost reflection of colors in the lower right coming from Medusa. It's kind of cool to see that, even though it's faint as I never knew it was there before.
