Ryan, very nice blend job, I have been blending for several years and some images just defy the areas like this one between light and dark areas. I also tend to get a lighter canyon too bright I really like this

The north rim of the Grand Canyon is higher then the south rim, you either have the camera level or tilt it to make the horizon look level. I usually leave the horizon a bit off.

Hey Mike, Now we are talking! I like your thinking out of the box with this as to how your final look is.

As for the added saturation, are you converting the Color Profile to sRGB when getting your image ready for the web?
Thanks! I didn't convert the color profile. I've never had to do that before so don't know how.

Here's another version with a blue sky. And I think I fixed the saturation issue. I upgraded to Lightroom CC one week before they introduced LR Classic. I guess when it upgraded, it automatically set the Color Profile to ProPhoto RGB. I changed it to sRGB. Apparently the ProPhoto RGB still posts correctly on Facebook, but it needs to be on sRGB here. I'll just keep it there. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's always best to convert to sRGB before posting. This looks pretty god, but something funny is going on with the cliff below the horizon on the right side. I fought the same thing with my conversions, hard to select that area and not have halos.
