Joshua Tree National Park

One of my favorite NPs just for photography. Beautiful Mojave desert scenery everywhere and those awesome boulders make for endless photo ops. These IR images were with a 665nm converted Nikon d90.

These are stunning Michael! Joshua Tree is my 2nd favorite National Park only behind Yosemite. I spent my teenage years camping, rock clmbing and photographing there.

I really like the IR look, and you Have such strong competitions. Trying to pick favorites, I will go with #1, 2 and 5.

Really very nice rendering. The 665nm shows off the colors and contrasts quite well. Nice compositions as well.

Thank you gentlemen, I appreciate your comments. I only shoot B+W IR these days, but I miss the colors I could pull off that 665 conversion!

Thanks Oliver! Always good when you can place a brightly lit subject in front of a darker background to make it pop!
