This is a "living" historical ranch on El Camino Real.....south of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is authentic and they have Spring, Summer, and Harvest festivals. The name means "the ranch of the swallows".

And there are "ranch hands" and even some "actors" in period costumes.

Santa Fe has so many cool old areas in it and surrounding it. This is one I didn't know about.

You captured it really well Darrel. Thwart interesting to have rooms decorated in that time period and also actors.

I guess the images I posted are pretty static (I tend to wait until there are no people around). There's actually a lot of activity on the ranch, with an operating mill, and creative people following historic traditions.
