This is a scene looking northwest from my normal location looking southeast. This sky was calling to me.

Great image, Ben. When I was learning photography one of my mentors told me to always turn around to see if you can find a composition in the opposite direction. This practice forces you to hone your compositional skills. I can see that you have already learned this quite well.

I always turn around her, one time I saw a moose walking across the meadow but my lens was too short to show it well

The sky is certainly awesome Ben, good job on turning around. But... you are cutting off the creek on the left. Like anything that just pokes into a photo it's a distraction. I would crop that part of the left side out now.

Hi Jim, you are right and I am surprised nobody else noticed. Cropping would have meant losing a neat area of sky so I did not, but I can certainly try it and see how it looks.
