Hello everyone! Following to my Best Filters for Landscape Photography review, I went and tested 6 filter holders from those same brands as well. Filter holders are an extremely important piece of equipment for me, finding one that is as easy as possible to carry, that makes my workflow as easy as possible and that works well in keeping stray light off my images is paramount. This review proved truly interesting for me first; here are my results, hoping you'll find them interesting as well:

Excellent write up at expected Vieri. I noticed no mention of Lee. I used to have a complete set of Lee filters and the holder. But I don't use ND grads anymore and have only two lenses so my filter selection is a polarizer and one ND filter. Both screw in.

But having once owned an EF TSE 17 and 24, and also a 14-24 I appreciate the problem. I actually made my own filter holder for the 17TSE

Hey Ben, thank you very much, glad you found the article interesting! About Lee, I decided to examine only brands producing Grad ND, ND and polarizer in 100mm size in glass, and Lee is not one of them, sadly.

I appreciate your solution, of course not using Grad NDs anymore going for round filters (perhaps magnetic ones) would be a great solution. Personally, I am on the reverse side of that, I do use pretty much only Grad NDs nowadays, because the Phase One XT and IQ4 offer Frame Averaging which work better than a ND filter, and I don't need to use NDs anymore... :) It's great to have so many different solutions for everyone!!

Best regards,
