Aurora over Chapel on the Rock

The app said 1% chance of seeing the aurora last night, but a friend forwarded shots from a friend in Denver, then added his own (he's 30-45 minutes south of me & 1000' lower), so I took off for my favorite local aurora destination @ 30 minutes away. At first, the lights were mostly NE, (to the right of the chapel) but after about a half hour, they edged more to the north.

2 other photographers came & went. One spent most of his time chimping over aurora shots he'd taken in WA state since with too low of ISO, the lights where we were were dim. I encouraged him to bump it to ISO 3200 instead of 2000 & do longer exposures. And pointed to where the lights were. The other was disappointed that the lights weren't over the chapel & left after a few minutes.

Is the pond with the reflections in the foreground partially frozen?

Super cool Monika, I am glad you got it with the church.

I would suggest a heavy crop though and go to a 4:5 format. The reflection is too bright and lacking detail, so I would crop right below the church, I think it really strengthens the image to do that.
