Al Sahla Mosque, Kufa

From my recent trip to Iraq. Taken with my iPhone. This is a building which was constructed just a few years ago. This is the view of the dome and surrounding smaller domes. The architecture as well the details and calligraphy is just exquisite. I wish I had better gear. The place was very busy and packed and so even getting a better angle was a challenge.

Thanks Alan. There are many other aspects of this building which is fascinating with architecture elements. A visit at a different time with less crowds and a better camera can capture it much better.

Interesting. You might try darkening the center and see if that adds depth. Is this your only exposure for the bright lights?

Thanks Kurt. This was shot with an iPhone 11 Pro (no RAW support). Hard to control the exposure in that setting. Will try the suggestion and see how that looks.
