    Moonset at Thawing Lake

I've been waiting for this scene for a while, and it took two sunrise hikes to make it work. The moon was a nice bonus and it setting next to a feature was even better (though it required a jog around the lake to make it work). All comments welcome! Tim #1 Icy Reflection #2 Brushed

Jumbled Rocks Milky Way Pano + New Edit

Very nice results, but I agree with Kyle. It looks a little brownish at the horizon, and I'm not sure if that's a bleeding mask from where you made local temperature adjustments.

    Back to the Glen...

Very nice Dean! I like the black and white treatment in #2, but the angle in #1 is very pleasing.

    Lake Ice

Thanks for the comments everyone! Thanks for the suggestion Dean! I struggled with cropping on this, and I'm pretty convinced that if you present an abstract to a group of photographers they'll each come up with a different crop. My crop was trying to give similar amounts of breathing room at...

    Lake Ice

Eclipse day was a long day. I hiked up to a lake at sunrise for forecasted clouds (that didn't show up), so I looked around for ice patterns. All comments welcome! Tim Delicate Spring Ice

    Bristlecone Lunar Eclipse

Thanks for commenting everyone! The road is easily passable up to a mile shy of Patriarch. There's a patch of snow just after the split between the road to White Mountain and Patriarch that makes driving to Patriarch Grove difficult. It should be melted out in a week or so with temperatures in...

    Coastal Sunrise

That's a nice problem to have! And I'm guessing too many gray days in a row unearthed it. That is a wonderful rock in the foreground with beautiful subtle tones and color. I cropped off everything above the horizon by scrolling and it also made a fine image.

    Super Bloody Moon Eclipse

The clouds certainly make it more interesting for the timelapse. Well done Oliver!
