Another Wednesday is upon us so time for another round of waterfalls. It's going to get hot enough out here near the west coast that we may want to crawl under some of the falls today :(

My water flow for this week is from my favorite canyon in the Coast Range for falls - Sweet Creek. This is a scene from just above what is called Anise Falls.

Pile on with your own falling water.

I am running out of good waterfall images but you may find this from Northern Portugal interesting. It is a small section of a stream that falls for approx 1000ft down the hillside dropping into multiple small pools like this on the way down. Ken _DSC1427-1.jpg

Neat looking set of falls Ken. Is there a viewpoint that lets you see the whole drop or do you have to view it in pieces?

This is as good as I have Alan but it is still only the top half. Hiking to get to a better viewpoint didn't seem to be worth it as the light was very harsh. Ken _DSC1424-1.jpg

That's a cool looking waterfall Ken! So is that pool accessible by foot? the cliff surrounding it seems pretty intimidating.

Jim you would have to clamber down the hill that I am on and cross a hidden river. It is steeper than the hillside you can see. Alternatively you can climb up from the left from the valley below but it is probably a 1500ft climb with no visible paths, so beyond me. Ken

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I do like your photo and how the pool can be seen from your vantage point.
