Wednesday is here again and so is another waterfall pile on thread :)

This is a small scene from the lower portion of Paulina Falls at Newbury Volcanic National Monument near Bend, Oregon. I was playing around with ND filters a lot at the time I shot this.

Pile on with whatever you have depicting falling water.

Lovely ghostly water, zoom in and it would make an interesting abstract. Ken

More from South West Scotland. Sometimes you arrive at a location and wish that you could get to the other side of a stream without risking life and limb and that is the case with the first image. The 2nd image comes from a location that I have posted from before. Ken

Very nice, Alan. A waterfall in the Oregon desert....
I'll be heading to Bend (a wandering route, of course), soon, arriving around the 23rd. Have to check it out.

A raven was hanging around this cascade just long enough for me to get my camera & tripod out of my pack & get set up. No 2nd chances with that guy, though. This was on my way to Diamond Lake the other week.

Thanks for starting this Alan, and a wonderful kick off waterfall.

My offering this week is from the trail to Baring Falls in Glacier NP. I liked this pour off better than the falls.

Was looking for this image the other day, but I couldn't find it (?) so I went back to the raw and started from scratch.
Aug '07, Sol Duc Falls, from a 'secret spot', thanks to Tim ONeill. Also with Ute Weyer, Martin McLeish, Ian Mackay, Bart Carrig, Don Hall, Richard McLeish, and Alan Lichty was there as well!
Awesome spot and area! Must see on the OlyPen!

I really like this tighter view Alan, that looks like a great location. I would clone out that thin branch on the right, it's pretty distracting I think.

Here is mine from American Basin in Colorado. There was late season snow still in the basin, a bit dirty but still pretty cool.
