Kebler, Keebler..... The trees were pretty impressive both around Ridgway (btw, don't ever put "Ridgeway, CO" in your GPS: it'll take you to SE of Durango instead of Ridgway) and Kebler Pass this morning. Unfortunately, I just had 1 1/2 days around there & bluebird skies for both. It's supposed to snow on Thursday, though, so if any of you guys are in CO on Friday, it should be quite pretty. Last night was pretty chilly: 21 degrees according to the thermometer in my FJ. Froze a full gallon water jug.

Beautiful mosaic of colors across this scene Monika. Nice kiss of sunlight on the peaks and the ridge lines. There are some cool temps ahead next week for almost the whole length of the Rockies.

This is a beautiful scene Monica. I had planned to be there this year but had to cancel.

I was thinking of you yesterday & today, Alan. Shooting from the road (though this was from atop the FJ as the bushes at the turnout have gotten pretty tall) for the most part. Hope your knee is coming along.

I have never gotten there at peak. Always early or late. I had to imagine what it would look like...... until this past weekend.

Ah, Jim, you would have waited until after the snow and it would have been more than sweet! 4-7" predicted at my house.

Very nice, Monika. Reminds me a bit of the White Mountains in NH.
