Hi, I just got back from a long trip went down to the Grand Canyon and up to Moab ending my trip in CO. It was a super cold morning but so worth the bone chilling cold.

This sure looks awesome Alisa! I don’t think that you need to change a thing. When you get a photo like this, it’s the one that makes the whole trip worthwhile. Even if you didn’t get another good photo from that trip, this one alone would make it worthwhile.

Sweet. I'm really drawn into this one and can imagine myself bundled up, zooming and snapping away as this light show played out.

Great image, Alisa. This looks like Mather Point looking east. There ae usually a bunch of people jostling for position there. I hope you didn't have to experience that.

    Hey Alisa,

That is a fabulous image. It really catches the feeling of the Grand Canyon in winter. I do have a couple of quick suggestions before you (hopefully) print this. The top of the frame has the brightest areas and this draws the eye away from canyon. I would consider cropping in from the top right to remove those bright spots. Also, it might be the downsizing that you did, but the nearest ridge on the right side looks like it has a little bit of haloing. Either way it is great. Congrats!
