There was some nice stormy weather as I was heading to Ouray, as I was shooting this sunflower field it clouded up a bit, and then the sun broke through. This happened a few times so it was fun to be able to play with getting these beams of light from the sun over the sunflowers.

All comments are welcome. Again, this field is by Delta in Colorado off of Hwy50.

    Jim

Wow - and I thought finding the sunflower field was a great thing with the first post. Amazing to get a shot like this with the sunflowers facing you and not the sun. Hope you have more from here - I like this series :)

Thanks so much Alan. I do have a few more, but they may have to be put on hold. I have to finish up work on a wedding I shot last weekend, and of course I will be heading out in just 5 or 6 days to Colorado, Wyoming, etc for fall colors.

It looks like the sunflowers were overwhelmed with your sunny personality and decided to face you instead of the show behind them. That's confusing sunflower behavior if that's not true.
