Made a trip to the Stongehenge in my last trip to London. It was a bit of letdown. The crowds there make meaningful compositions difficult. Managed to snag a few where I could clone them out and here is one which I recently reprocessed. A handheld shot.

    C&C Welcome

That's one of the problems when trying to get good captures of world heritage sites - all the others with the same intent. I like the color of the clouds and skies - adds a nice mood to the overall scene. Nice job of obscuring your fellow touri :)

That's a fine image, Jameel. I thought the place was surrounded by a fence that prevented any good image-making.

Really nice especially the tones, Jameel.

Thanks Alan. A unique problem with this site is that people aren't viewing it from any one place. They are allowed to go around it. That makes a people free composition next to impossible.

Thanks Jeffrey. There is no fence once you get in past the gate.

Thanks Doug. Funfact, there is a stonehenge in washington state. I have never visited that. It is popular location for MW shots. One of these days.

It's located near the Maryhill Museum of Art. I used to drive by it all the time when I belonged to a wine club at the Maryhill Winery a couple of miles west of the Museum. Never did stop to shoot it I must confess. Your fastest route would probably be via Ellensburg and then head down US97 to WA14.

Very cool Jameel. You got some really nice clouds to go with this.

I think people are a given at this location. I was there I think 15 years ago, it was sure pretty cool.
