This is my local church, Brampton old church (12thC). It is tiny but has a lovely graveyard and can be a rewarding although often frustrating place to photograph as you try and find a viewpoint that separates everything.

Cumbria is famous for daffodils and they grow everywhere in the Spring

Lastly this winter brought late and heavy snow. This town usually does not get heavy snow but this year was an exception. However 3 miles away the snow was 6ft deep and 25 miles South it was drifting to 20ft. People throughout the world may treat this as normal but here it is so unusual that we do not have the simple things needed to cope. So no chains, winter tyres or 4WD cars.

On the subject of weather, my thoughts are with the people of the Philippines and the Eastern seaboard of the USA who are coping with strong winds and rain. Ken

Cumbria was a place I remember enjoying, perhaps because we have a little town by the ocean at the bottom of Big Sur called Cambria, so I always connected the two in my mind from their similar names.

These 3 are really cool Ken. I like seeing the different seasons portrayed of a location from the same basic vantage point. You posted them in the order of my preference with #1 being my favorite. But they are all really good shots, that is one cool place to shoot.

And yes, our hearts and thoughts should go out to those on the East Coast of the US, and in the Philippines as that typhoon is a strong one.

These are great views! You are lucky to live so close to that church

Delightful series - I like seeing the seasons from the same PoV here. Not certain I would want to pick one of them over another as they each have a unique mood for the same subject.

I love season shots from the same location. You have some very distinctive images from the same spot and all are beautiful in their own right.

Great shots of a very cool place. I like each in it's own way, if I had to pick the driving snow in #3 lends some character that gives me the shivers.

I've always wanted to do a series like this, somehow marking a tripod placement so that I could get the camera in the exact same position for a series, then take a shot once a month. Such a series would be very cool to do slow dissolves through in a slide show. This would be easier now with auto align in PS.

Beautiful job on this series, Ken. You have handled the potential mergers perfectly.
