Fascinating way to view the swamp. Interesting set of names for the lilies. They look quite nice in IR.

Thanks very Much Alan, We'd gotten there while they were having a Drought and the Waterlevel was super low. We were in
what they call Dragon Boat with the stinger prop. gives you the up close and personal perspective !!!

Hi Jim, Thanks !!! Yes, we'd hired a Tour Guide and they use what they call Dragon Boats, small flat bottom "John Boats" with
25hp Motor that the prop stick way behind on a long bar to get you into the low water areas. Some of the water was only inches deep
in some places as they'd had a drought and was really low in several of the parts of the lake.

    Take Care and Thanks !!!

    Craig

I always love your images, because they never seem to hit you over the head with being an IR shot, they always stand on their own merits photographically, but then on top of what is most always an excellent composition of an interesting scene there is always that extra little something different about the way things look that one eventually sees is due to shooting the scene at a different wavelength of light. Or to put it another way, if not for the fact that this is an IR forum, and I know your work, I might not have noticed this as an IR image, at least not right away.

Fun shot, excellently translated from sensor to screen, as always.

    Hi Mikey,

Thanks so very much for the very kind reply and comments. I do appreciate you noticing the main principles of photography that to me are the building blocks of a good and appealing image. I'm afraid there are a lot of IR Shooters that it's IR so it's got to be good , which needless to say they're fooling themselves and no
one else. I'm probably not in the vain of the 100% IR Shooters where I like colorized images mostly but Like you noticed not at first glance or without a little info.

Thanks so much again, Take Care,

    CK
