This is another shot from an early morning session at the Valley of Fire with a very bright moon. Some stars were visible but the scene was dominated by the moonlight.

    C&C always welcome.

Edit - a new crop as per suggestion by Tim. I like this better.

Very nice Alan, I hope to do the same at White Pocket next week. I choose a full moon on purpose.

    Hey Alan,

Shooting under moon light is cool. It's great to see some stars showing through.

    Hey Alan,

I like the color balance you struck. The moonlight is really nice on the rocks, and the deep blue of the sky complements it well. Between the cloud on the left, and the light on the rocks, the right side feels empty in comparison. I would be tempted to shift everything leftwards and move to a roughly square crop.

Thanks for the suggestion -I need to try that crop. I like the sky over on the left better anyway.

I did a new edit with a square crop to eliminate the blank skies. This feels like a better balance for the scene. Thanks.
