You may get an overload from Skyline because we had some great sky's for the 3 days I was there. Nothing will top the sunset Jeffrey posted last night, but here is a sunrise progression from the last morning I hope you will like.

Like to hear any comments on favorites and any other issues you see.

Moments before the sun peeped over the horizon

    First peep

A move to my north a few feet to eliminate that side rock.

Wow - what a great sunrise. Seems a shame to pick favorites but the second one is kind of my pick with the magenta tint to the clouds and the sunburst right at the horizon. The only problem with the other two images is that they are right next to the second one :D

These are great, Ben. We all got different views and different looks. That's what's fun about comparing our personal takes on the same scene. Very nice imaging.

Awesome Ben! It's great seeing the difference as the sunrise progressed. My favorite is #3. I agree with Alan's comments on #2, those 2 rocks poking in from the left are quite bothersome visually. And you detected that while shooting since you did move to eliminate those on #3.

Perhaps you can crop in a little on the left to lose half of the rocks and then use Content Aware Fill to finish off removing them?

Thanks Jim, I worked to exclude the rocks as you will see in the first image, but when the sun came up, I had misjudged the exact location so I zoomed out a bit to get the entire star. That's when I moved left about a dozen feet to get a better angle, I will try your suggestion for cloning.

Here is a crop and clone for Jim. It does look better.

    Ben,
This is a great set of images my personal favorite is #2. The star burst just add some unique interest.
