Skyline Glow

I caught up with Jim and Ben for some Hanksville, Utah/Factory Butte exploring, photographing, and camping. I was late and Jim had to bail when I got there, but Ben and I continued to photograph. He's a great guide.

Here is my first night there, at Skyline Overlook. Made with a real camera on a tripod (I say this because the trip was mostly for drone imaging, which will follow soon).

I could stare into this scene for a very long time. The view is almost hypnotic and your processing of it is just perfect.

This is very nice indeed Jeffrey! I like your focus on those pinnacles and stacks.

It was great to have been able to stop and chat for an hour or so before I had to get on the road. One of the things that's really great about FocalWorld is just how much we get together in small groups throughout the year. I know I really enjoy the in person connection to go along with the online connection.

Jeffrey, this is why I like to just watch you shoot. I was there and never saw this but you did and produced a marvelous image. Great work.

Jeffrey,
Really beautiful.. I agree with Alan it’s a very mesmerizing image for both the quality of light and the way it’s composed. Great job here.

Wow, excellent image!
That's how it should have been!

Makes me happy I didn't post my dull, lifeless, washed out version...
