Another from my archive which I had put off processing till now. Isolated the background as I feel it brings out the flower better.

The isolated flower really pops in this rendering Jameel. Nice call on using black for the backdrop.

    Gorgeous!

The black background is really attractive. I often pass up shooting flowers because they're so photogenic that anyone can take an eye-catching close-up with their phone, etc. It's photos like this that bring me back to the fact that blossoms are awesome! A well-done flower portrait is really breathtaking.

Beautiful Dahlia, looks like a Fur Elise. Dahlia's are so gorgeous, they are like my favorite flower ever! Beautiful image Jameel and the black background really makes it pop!

Thanks Alan. This was taken in the garden - so the black background was entirely in post.

Thanks Amy. I like images of flowers. However getting the right 'pose', lighting and background often makes all the difference.

Thanks Jim. And for the feature - really appreciate and honored.

    Thanks Darcy

    Thanks Ben
