Here are a couple portraits from the Southern Paiute Veterans Pow Wow that Teresa & I went out to. Love going every year, the colors & the movement are fantastic and I will post some of them in a different thread.

Nice - that first one has clean sharp detail and good isolation of the subject.

Yeah the second one looks like I missed focus on the face & front focused on his beads I think.

Looks like some motion blur as well - selecting a higher ISO to increase the shutter speed might help for a venue like this.

The first is super. The first thing I noticed on the second was the sun glasses;)

#1 is sure looking great. The sunglasses on guy in the #2 shot looks so incongruous. Sunglasses just don't fit with an authentic Indian outfit. So I like you capturing it. Now in #2, everything is pretty much out of focus. The beads are out of focus too. What was your shutter speed? Everything else you shot was sharp, so this one though was probably just an odd miss.

Yeah looking again today I see that it is all out of focus. How weird it looks sharp in LR and blurry on here...oh my. Can you delete that one hahaha. Actually I just looked at my settings & yep slow on the shutter on this one. ISO 1000, f14, 1/250 sec at 300 mm so yeppers....too slow.
