A lot more textures to the water and the clouds than most of the images you have posted Vieri. A very interesting color palette with lots of neat details to keep my gaze.

Very nice Vieri. I like those sea stacks and that coastline, it certainly would be a great place to conduct workshops.

Thank you Alan, glad you liked it! :) About the treatment of water, personally, I am not in either the camp of those who always smoothen it completely, nor in that of those who never do. I think that it depends on the circumstances and on the image you want to make, and here the quality of the sea definitely didn't call for total smoothing IMHO. Glad you enjoyed the results! :)

Thank you very much Ben! :)

Thank you very much Jim, yes this is a very good spot to bring a group - and, it is very close to another place I'd go anyway, so I thought it worth it to explore this location as well, and to add one more alternative to the trip -it's always great to have more options, in case anything goes wrong in the "main" locations. I normally have about twice the locations I need, just in case :)

    Best regards,

    Vieri

Interesting how the movement in the water lends so much drama/power to the scene. A long exposure would probably make it feel like a tranquil scene.

Indeed Monika, plus given the amount of kelp swimming in the sea, a long exposure here would not have been too appealing, I think. As well, you would have lost a lot of the colour in the clouds...

    Best regards,

Ah, I wondered if the brown was kelp....
