I have posted this before, but I was never happy with the processing so I have been working it again trying to bring out the colors as I remember it. Many of the native colors are near to being out of gamut so I had to work at getting close without crossing the line.

    CC welcome.
Here is one with some glow added to the mountains and trees.

This is a nice rendition of first light on Mt. Moran. I still need to go back and look at what all I shot that morning but I didn't have as nice a view of Mt. Moran as you did.

This looks very fine to me, Ben. I'm enjoying your rather conservative approach to saturation here, keeping it realistic. Some spots in the clouds are on the edge of hot, but the image is so nice I'm not worrying about them.

    Thanks Bill

Thanks Alan, this light was really brief. The earlier show required a very wide shot and did not work so well compositionally.

Thanks Jim, good to hear especially from you.

    Thanks Jameel

Yes, Jeffrey, one of the issues I was dealing with. Its more a matter of parts of that area are out of gamut in sRGB, they look better on a wide gamut environment.

Processing is spot on. I wouldn't make any other changes. Fantastic Image! :)

Very nice, indeed, Ben. I'm with Jeffrey on your control of saturation. Nicely done.
I wonder if a very slight reduction in contrast (I like to use the Brightness/Contrast sliders in PS) might be good. Of course, you all know I like softer contrast scenes.:)

Not a bad idea - I wouldn't touch the sky, I think it is beautifully rendered. Reducing the contrast on the trees/mountains a little may bring out the dreamy feel a little more. Beautiful as is though!

    Thanks, glad you like it.

Thanks Barry and thanks for the suggestion, see the added image.

Thanks Kyle, I used your glow action to get the results I think you and Barry were looking for. See the new version. Let me know if this is the direction you meant. I think I prefer it. Just getting ready to print, glad I did not.
