The Palouse in eastern Washington offers up some amazing contrasts of rolling hills and the results of farming activities as the light plays across the landscape. Farm houses end up looking like something on a model train set.

    C&C always welcome.

You have the essence of the Palouse here.

Nice patterns. I can see this image really fitting into some interior designers color palette.

Nice Alan. This looks like late summer look. The place offers so many different looks from lush greens in early spring to the browns of summer and occasional snow in winter.

I took this 2 weeks ago today on my way back from Glacier/Yellowstone/Tetons. Conditions were almost frighteningly dry. This was my first visit to the Palouse and now I want to see it in the spring.

    Hi Alan,

This is a high quality texture shot. I'd be tempted to clone out the houses and trees to give it an abstract look.

Hey Alan, this is pretty cool looking. Definitely that's an area I want to get to in the spring sometime.

Very nice Alan. I'll bet that would make a nice B&W too.
