Literally, I was looking down on the fall color even as my spirit was soaring high from the fall colors. :)

These are from a few weeks ago in Yosemite National Park. I can really get stuck in looking and seeing the world around me in a certain way (Wide Angle). So I tried to mix it up a bit in Yosemite this last trip with a few more intimate views of fall.

    All comments are welcome,

    Jim

I like the color contrasts in the first image - that makes a nice collage. Interesting view from the bridge in the second one as well.

Thanks you guys! Yeah, the first one is a type of image I have been wanting for a while. I tried some in Colorado too, but never really cared for the way the leaves had fallen. Finding the right pattern is a hard one on that I think.

Thanks Eric! Yeah, I am happy with that one too. For as simple as that little pinecone scene looks, it sure is a hard scene to find where things are laid out nicely.

Great job on these images, Jim. It is difficult to find good compositions like these in these types of situations.
