Looking back at you

    I had a high percentage of successful captures from this trip that Ben, Jim, and myself were recently on. I'll post one a day for a few more days, if that is not overload.

    Suspended over the badlands and looking back at the Skyline ridge/plateau in morning's early light. What a wild place.

    Since the eastern horizon is pretty flat, there is no delayed sunrise, it just pops up on time. Sunset is another matter, the valley is in shade for some time before sunset.

    I like this one Jeffrey. I like how the ripples on the ground lead to the background. I also like the coloring how it changes from blue/gray in the bottom to that orange topped ridge. Unless I am turned around, I can see where I climbed down to when I was with Ben and exploring.
