Finally getting around to some more of my Grand Canyon trip pics. We stopped at the confluence with the Little Colorado River. The other time I was there, it was completely packed with people. This time, we were the first ones there & had it to ourselves for probably 45'. There was one funny incident with other boaters: I came upon a gentleman named Paul from our trip as he was walking back to the boat. He was frozen in his tracks as there were 2 women in front of him who had stripped down to their panties to swim in the river. "We're European", they explained. Paul didn't want to go any closer until they put their shirts back on. Meanwhile, hurrying up the trail in order to catch them before they either got in the water or put their tops back on, was Erich (also on our boat). Erich is Swiss, so maybe the Swiss aren't quite so unconcerned with topless females? Sorry, no pics of the topless beauties. You'll have to settle for grass and water instead....;)

Grass and moving water works - a simple and pleasant scene to view. I like the contrast of the new growth along the banks with the older dead grasses behind and the nice aqua colors in the water.

That's a cool shot! For most of us our shots are from up high and looking down on it, so to see it at eye level is great.

And that's so funny about Paul just standing there frozen in his tracks! It certainly could have been a great time to have captured some natural wildlife photos...

Nicely seen mage, Monika. Most photographers would not have thought of this.
