I have known this couple for years! But they DID NOT hire me for their wedding! As it so happens, her sister went and hired another studio to cover the event... and as luck would have it, THAT photographer was busy, so he hired ME to photograph it! They admitted that they wanted me, but since her sister had offered to cover the expense... they felt bad saying no... but imagine their surprise when I walked in!

Glad you got the opportunity to photograph an event you wanted to.

I'd like to make a suggestion...On photo #3 in which they are looking at the ring on her hand...I feel like it is the main subject and should be in focus. Not sure if you intended it that way or if you really wanted their faces in focus.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion Ryan! You are right! And I did shoot the ring as the main subject on another one... but for some reason... maybe because I know them, I liked this one better...

Take care!

Hey Frank,

Some very nice wedding work here! It's really great to have someone here that has shot weddings. While I have shot weddings, it's been a while, and I limited myself to 3 or 4 a year. You are in a totally different class with these.

My favorite is #2. I know it's just the ring shot, but there is just so much to like about it, such cool lines and curves in it.

That's a good thing you were still able to step in even if you hadn't gotten chosen in the beginning.
