Less is more

    I made a great effort to include the reflection of this feature and showed 3 versions in the thread linked, I felt the composition always top heavy to get it all in.

    I even realized this at the time i was taking the images, so I made one that just showed the feature without the reflection, I like it much better, what do you think?

    I like this - and in comparing it to the previous compositions I like the increased emphasis on the neat cloud structures and how nicely they play off the textures of the rocks.

    It certainly looks great Ben! I agree that sometimes less is more.

    You have some great clouds in this and a nice flow among the swirls. I don't know that I like this better then your reflection ones, as they were great too. I think they are just different not so much better. :)

    I like the first of the trio and this one. Actually, they are all nice.
