    Hello everyone,

my review of the new Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH is finally published! I compared it with the Voigtlander 15mm at the wide end, and with the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm at the long end. I hope you'll find it interesting, here it is:

Thanks so much for sharing Vieri, I will be heading over to read this a little later.

I do want to say that even though I use Nikon and not Leica, I like the range of a 16-35mm lens. The Nikon's 16-35mm is my most used lens. I love it's range as it's wide enough to cover most things I want to shoot wide, and it can zoom in tight enough for those times I need a bit of a tighter composition.

So for Leica users, if this 16-35mm has any decent quality, it's a lens that should be in most peoples bags and on their cameras in my opinion.

Thank you for commenting Jim, looking forward to hearing your opinion about the article :) About the lens, it is phenomenal, and as you said I think the range is extremely useful for landscape. IMHO, any landscape photographer using Leica SL should be extremely happy that Leica finally released it :)

Thank you very much Bob for taking the time to read it and comment, glad you enjoyed it :)

    Best regards,

    Vieri

Hello Paul! :D Yes, I was really looking forward to it... I think I got the very first copy that arrived to Italy! For the first time in my life, I have been an early buyer - and I wasn't disappointed, the lens is just great! :D

How's life in MF world, still enjoying your GFX? ;)

    Best regards,

    Vieri
