Joshua Tree Snow

Dori and I headed to the Grand Canyon for the long weekend, and found ourselves unusually close to Joshua Tree. We haven't been since 2012, so we decided to get some sleep nearby and headed back to the park this morning. All comments welcome!

Oh man Tim! You just missed Kyle and me as we were out there Friday and Sat.

These are all really cool looking. I had thought it might snow, but I had to get back home.

I like all of these, you did really well. #3 may be my favorite, but all 3 are cool and you had some nice clouds turning a bit of color.

It's supposed to snow again Thursday night, I may run out there again on Thursday. But then I also wanted to go to Yosemite... choices....

Great shots, first one is my favorite too. Crazy, I was at the south entrance taking pictures of the wildflower blooms, did it snow there too, or just at higher elevations >3000 ft? I think the where the wildflowers are blooming are 2000ft.

Thanks for the comments all!

Johnny: The northwest entrance was pretty much the snow line. Mitch Miller photographed the snow in the morning in the north and wildflowers in the south in the same day. Snow and wildflowers would certainly be interesting.
