I got these on a quick trip over to Leavenworth with out of town friends. We were heading for a walk to a waterfall if it wasn't raining yesterday but kept a drive further east as a back-up. Sure enough the west side was heavy rain, while east of Stevens Pass was just sprinkling. Some nice color was found in Tumwater Canyon. I've got a few more to process later.

Nice colors. I was wondering what the east side of the Cascades was looking like and you have answered that question :)

    I love that first shot.

Really nice Jim. I really like #2 with what looks like rain drops in the water.

Really nice colors there, Jim. Funny that you append "from the ground"

That second one is lovely with the huge underwater rocks. The green cast of the water and the fall color work well together.

Thanks for the comments guys. I wasn't happy with most of my drone video - I couldn't see the telephone lines that were behind that nice stand of trees and they ruin all my shots IMO. I used the healing brush to erase them in the still picture that I got.

You are right about the raindrops Jim - I think they add a nice accent to that shot and this one too. Rain is another time that the drone is weak. My lens shade kept the lens clear on my real camera, while the tiniest sprinkle, which won't damage the drone, does get drops on the lens.

Here is my favorite from the day, a six shot pano with the A7r2:

A forest fire destroyed most of the pines a few years ago, but now makes for beautiful hillsides as the new thicker underbrush turns color.

The underbrush is where all of the colors exist with NW fall - the fire seems to have helped them to be more visible.

Wow, a very enjoyable and distinctive set of images. I really like the first 2 (a slight nod to #1) but all are nice!
