Not much action here lately, so I’m posting a couple from the semi-recent past.

    Interesting looking place.

I am going to plead ignorance and have to ask where is Horn Island? Queensland?

Southern most tip of South America. Horn (Hornos) island is where Cape Horn is.

Thnx - professor google wasn't entirely helpful in this case and pointed at Mississippi and Queensland and neither of them looked like your images :)

Great set, I love that second one. I have read many accounts of rounding the horn and know it can be treacherous.

Like Ben, I recall reading many a story especially when growing up about explorers rounding that horn. I especially like #1 a lot. What cool sawtooths on that.

Posting from archives is awesome! I go out to shoot a lot so I have lot's of current photos I post, but I still mix it up with archive shots, I think it's fun to mix it up like that.
